Abstract

Zophodes fitzsimonsi Koch, pl. 2: a-c, pl. 3: d; text figs. 1-5 and 8 The descriptionption is based on a larva 22 mm long, 2.1 mm broad, head-capsule 1.9 mm wide (pl. 2: a). Body almost cylindrical of sub equal width, fairly strongly sclerotized, segments transverse to sub quadrate, not constricted between segments; cuticle glabrous of ivory to light umber colour, head, pronotum and ninth abdominal tergum darker; ninth abdominal tergum ovate, ventrally almost completely closed but for a basal aperture for ninth abdominal sternum, four small apical setae at equal distances, surface covered with pores.
