Different views regarding the relative attractiveness of grain products to insects have been expressed.The problem of susceptibility of the different milling products of maize and wheat to invasion and oviposition by the rust-red flour beetle has been investigated. Results on the relative rate of development of the larvae of this species in maize and wheaten products are given below.
