Although to date the economic policies which the Government has followed in regard to the black homelands have been structured to dovetail with its political policies, the possibility cannot be excluded that the country is on the threshhold of an era in which economic considerations may well become more decisive and perforce require that adaptations or changes be made to prevailing political policies.
