Abstract

The Author gives a brief descriptionption of the increase in power consumption in Britain and the possibilities of meeting this increase in the future with adequate coal supplies. He shows that it is clear that nuclear power stations will make up the shortfall of coal and will eliminate the need for extensive use of oil for fuel.
