Extracted from text ... MUCH DISCUSSION and debate has and continues to take place with regard to the pros and cons surrounding the question of hot dip galvanising of reinforcing bars in concrete. From these debates it is clear that there are a a number of misconceptions and that opportunities to improve structural integrity and service life could be overlooked or lost through a lack of knowledge of hot dip galvanised coating.
