Located in the heart of the Seychelles, just 200 m from the capital island of Mahé, sits Eden Island, a man-made marina development which comprises a selection of upmarket residences, amenities, a retail centre and the 90-key Eden Bleu Hotel. This 56 ha, US$380 million development is currently in the last phase of construction and was the winner of the Virgin Atlantic award in the 2013-2014 African Property Awards. Built on reclaimed coral reef, the development's design elements were chosen to reflect the Seychelles' local culture and natural surroundings, and residences range from waterfront apartments and double-storey maisons, to villas. The adjacent Eden Island International Marina is also one of the few island marinas in the world able to house super yachts. On the next few pages some of the key players involved in the project share aspects of the structural, infrastructure and project management components of the project with us.
