Abstract

A comparison of two excerpts from Julius Rufinianus and Quintilian permits a better comprehension of the juridical aspect of the trial in which Cicero delivered the . In addition, analysis of these texts suggests that both Quintilian and Julius Rufinianus consulted, among other sources, Cicero's for their works.
