Perspectives in Education
Perspectives in Education is a professional, refereed journal, which encourages submission of previously unpublished articles on contemporary educational issues. As a journal that represents a variety of cross-disciplinary interests, both theoretical and practical, it seeks to stimulate debates on a wide range of topics. PIE invites manuscripts employing innovative qualitative and quantitative methods and approaches including (but not limited to) ethnographic observation and interviewing, grounded theory, life history, case study, curriculum analysis and critique, policy studies, ethnomethodology, social and educational critique, phenomenology, deconstruction, and genealogy. Debates on epistemology, methodology, or ethics, from a range of perspectives including postpositivism, interpretivism, constructivism, critical theory, feminism, post-modernism are also invited. PIE seeks to stimulate important dialogues and intellectual exchange on education and democratic transition with respect to schools, colleges, non-governmental organisations, universities and technikons in South Africa and beyond.

Phronimon
Phronimon is the bi-annual journal of The South African Society for Greek Philosophy and the Humanities. It publishes work of a high academic quality and encourages articles which meet the highest standards of philosophical expertise, while at the same time remaining accessible to readers from a broad range of philosophical disciplines. Although preference is given to articles relating to ancient Greek philosophy, the editorial board appreciates contributions from scholars in the human sciences as a whole with the intention of providing an international forum for interdisciplinary research, debate and discussion. The journal encourages and actively pursues diversity of viewpoints of contributors. Thereby it is in no way committed to any school of thought, party, method or style within the humanities.

Progressio
Progressio is the electronic journal of the Bureau for Learning Development at the University of South Africa. It is a partially refereed journal intended to provide a forum for discussion on the theory and practice of distance education. It includes and seeks contributions of research articles, book reviews, information and opinion pieces around issues of open learning and distance education. Some contributions, while not primarily concerned with distance education, may nevertheless be of interest to distance education researchers and instructors.

Psycho-analytic Psychotherapy in South Africa

Pythagoras is an official journal of AMESA - the Association for Mathematics Education of South Africa, http://www.amesa.org.za. It is devoted to the improvement of Mathematics Education at all levels of education.
The aim is to present new ideas and developments that are considered to be of major importance to those working in the field of Mathematics Education. It seeks to reflect the variety of research concerns, the range of research methods employed and the variety of didactical, methodological and pedagogical issues in the teaching of Mathematics. Pythagoras is thus intended as an academic forum for the presentation and critical discussion of current research and developments in Mathematics Education at national as well as international level."
