Fighter aircraft are noted for agility and for being able to out-manoeuvre an opponent. Missiles are even more nimble, and a constant battle is waged between more responsive countermeasures and swifter missile tactics. Generation IV and V missiles turn at up to 100 g (g being the acceleration of gravity). The CSIR and its partners, set out to discover whether the aerodynamics of fast manoeuvre could be predicted.
