The following notification, which appears in the October, 1966 issue of the Law Society's Gazette (England) is published with due acknowledgement, as the question of the Two-thirds rule is one which has exercised the minds of our own members for some time. ""The Law Society and the General Council of the Bar were agreed that the existing rule of conduct and etiquette of the Bar that in cases in which leading counsel as well as junior counsel are engaged, the junior shall be paid two-thirds of the fee paid to his leader, should be abrogated.
