Alas, we all have our political views. Even newspaper editors. In commenting upon the outcome of a special general meeting of one of our law societies relating to sections 10 and 29 of the General Law Amendment Act, 1969, a Transvaal daily suggested that members of the society were influenced by their political views rather than by the dispassionate approach to be expected of lawyers. Dare we suggest that the conclusions of the editor concerned may possibly have been coloured by his own political inclinations?
