oa De Rebus - Criminal law simplified

Abstract

In criminal law as in other fields of our legal system, the process of development has had in some instances a complicating effect rather than one of simplification. Because the science of law is at times difficult to understand, simplicity in the administration of justice is imperative. This goal can largely be achieved by the elimination of the needless multiplicity of offences.
