Abstract

The famous case of Ridge v Baldwin 1964 AC 40 set a momentum going regarding the right to be heard in administrative law, the repercussions of which are still being felt. The right to a legitimate hearing has now been extended by the Privy Council to the right to a legitimate expectation to be heard.
