English - the unifying medium? A part from its status because it is believed to be the Word of God, the Holy Bible is a repository of some of the wisdom garnered by the human race. To cull from the Bible about language one need look no further than the eleventh chapter of the Book of Genesis where, in a post-flood world, people purged from wickedness by the catastrophe are building the Tower of Babel to reach to the sky.
