The aim in this article was to locate mission education in South Africa within the mission paradigm theory as propagated by the missiologist, David J. Bosch. This model, as proposed in the monograph , adopts a contextual stance in the examination of the mission process throughout history and is also considered appropriate for a critique of mission education in South Africa.
