The Afrotropical fauna of Dufouriini (Dexiinae) is reviewed. A new genus based on a new species, Rhinophoroides minutus, is described from KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. This taxon appears to have affinity with the monotypic South African genus Mesnilana Emden, 1945, also known only from KwaZulu-Natal. Character states distinguishing the two genera are discussed. No other affinities are indicated.
