The Old World tribe Eutoeini Holloway (Ennominae), previously known from the Palaearctic, Oriental, and Australasian Regions and western to eastern Africa, as far south as Tanzania, is recorded from southern Africa for the first time. It is represented by two new species in southern Africa, which are tentatively placed in the genus Idiotephra Warren. Both species are associated with wooded habitats.
