The study is an attempt to further highlight the problems and guidance concerns of students of higher institutions of learoing. Two hundred and thirty one students from four higher institutions in Kano State (Nigeria) made up the sample for analysis of their educational, personal-social and vocational problems as well as their guidance concerns through a researcher designed Students Problems Ventilation Scale (S.P.V.S.). It is strongly recommended that functional guidance and counselling services be urgently introduced in higher institutions to help curb students problem experiences.
