This study examined the relationships of job satisfaction and emotional intelligence to organizational commitment of secondary school teachers in Ekiti State, Nigeria. A total of 210 teachers randomly selected from eleven secondary schools in Ekiti State participated in the study. Job satisfaction, emotional intelligence and organizational commitment scales were administered to the teachers. Data collected were analysed using Multiple Regression Analysis. Results of the study revealed that job satisfaction and emotional intelligence significantly predicted organizational commitment of secondary school teachers. The implications of the findings for recruitment, counselling and training of teachers were discussed. It was recommended that job satisfaction and emotional intelligence of teachers should be enhanced to improve their organizational commitment.
