In Nigeria, as a result of economic constraints, it is quite common to find children hawking and trading along the major streets, in buses as conductors and in the motor parks as touts. This study is an assessment of the patterns of substance use among this often neglected segment of the population in Nigeria. Out of a total of 100 children included in the study, the prevalence of substance use was 38%.
