oa IFE PsychologIA : An International Journal - The relationship between depression and anxiety in a sample of enuretics and non-enuretics



This study investigated the relationship between depression and anxiety among samples of enuretic and non-enuretic subjects in Enugu State. Thirty-two participants comprising of 16 enuretics and 16 non-enuretic were involved in the study. Four hypothesis were tested using both the independent test (Hypotheses 1 and 2) and pearson moment correlation statistics (Hypotheses 3 and 4). Results of the study showed that a significant differences existed between enuretics and non-enuretics on this disorder. Equally, a significant sex difference were also noted when enuretics were compared on these variables. Implications of these findings to clinicians, parents and practitioners were listed and recommendations proffered.
