The black white dichotomy has dictated conventional models of racism throughout the world. Persons of African descent are consistently portrayed as victims and those of European descent as perpetrators. In fact following conquest and or domination by Europeans, people of color act out racist behaiours having idealized European values for skin color. The result is self-denigration whereby those lighter-skinned in an effort to appease Europe have assumed the psychological demeanor of its people. The aftermath is validation of the Bleaching Syndrome as assimilation strategy. That Western racial lines continue to blur vis-a-vis skin color, Asian color will likely prevail as the most practical vehicle of racism in the new millennium.
