The South African Pavilion showcased a wide variety of food products. With 37 exhibitors on the SA national stand this year, it was one of the largest ever official South African participations at Anuga. Products displayed included indigenous teas such as rooibos and honeybush, fruit juices, jams and preserves, sauces, chutneys, spices, confectionery, dried fruits and nuts, ostrich and game meats and organic products. A number of the companies exhibiting have won awards at other major global events.
