Abstract

The article, Propelling the professionalisation of the food industry, published in the January edition of Food Review, sparked more debate than I was expecting. This month's Student Focus will be on the response we got from Dr Gunnar Sigge, SAAFoST president, Head of the Food Science Department at the University of Stellenbosch, on this important issue.
