It wasn't so long ago that the spotlight was on older consumers (55 years of age and older), termed the Baby Boomers (or people born post WWII between 1946 and 1956). Now, they've become a generation of consumers seemingly forgotten in food culture, passed over in favour of a new generation : the Millennials or Generation Y. But, food companies would be wise to revisit the Baby Boomers and get to know them again.
