There are currently two principles for assessing and monitoring aromas and odours, neither which can guarantee adequate information to solve a persistent problem. These are human sensory reactors and instrumentation. Leading provider and innovator of Permeation testing instruments and laboratory services, Mocon, is at the forefront of developing other methods which can offer effective solutions to a range of odour problems. The White Paper entitled , looks at three possible scenarios taking into consideration particular challenges and limits in this field.
