Extracted from text ... Erosion control at Izinga Ridge A new generation erosion control geotextile played a major role in combating erosion in the Umhlanga Rocks area in KwaZulu-Natal. The first occasion was when BCP Engineers of Westville developed the Geo Step, a unique erosion inhibitor that was successfully used to rehabilitate a massive canyon caused by heavy rains and as vegetation loss below the Gateway complex.
