COMPANY NEWS Port planning Protekon, a Transnet subsidiary, is part of the high-level, multidisciplinary team master planning the future of South Africa's eight commercial ports for the National Ports Authority (NPA). The planning follows the government's approval of a R37-billion port infrastructure plan to strengthen Transnet's position to provide clients with a seamless intermodal freight transport service.
