A leading empowerment fleet management company has been awarded a five year contract to supply and maintain the City of Cape Town's new waste compactor fleet on a full maintenance lease. Amasondo Fleet Services is 51% owned by empowerment group, Ukhamba Holdings, and 49% owned by Imperial Holdings. The company is also fully supported by Imperial Fleet Services. Amasondo recently took delivery of the first 17 Faun Rotopresses from Olifantsfontein-based, specialist truck body manufacturer, TFM Industries.
