Extracted from text ... ROADS AND BRIDGES Many Mitchell's Plain residents do not have their own transport and rely on public transport for daily commuting. The newly constructed transport interchange facility, which, according to Faisel Moosa of the project managers Kayad Engineering, is the largest public transport interchange and the third busiest in Cape Town. The facility is now operational, fully functional and serving the transport needs of the community. In the past, commuters faced numerous frustrations due to inadequate and sometimes non-existent public transport infrastructure.
