NEWS The recently completed rail terminal within the new multi-purpose terminal at the Port of Durban is set to increase efficiency and productivity and play a major role in alleviating congestion in the port. The contract to construct the R34-million intermodal facility was awarded to Protekon Port and Rail Solutions by the National Ports Authority (NPA) in April 2005.
