The first 300-T/H Double Barrel Green System warm-mix asphalt plant was recently commissioned by Much Asphalt at its Benoni facility in Ekurhuleni, Gauteng. Built by US asphalt company Astec, the new plant will allow Much Asphalt to decrease its carbon footprint substantially, owing to the lower temperatures employed.
