A family trust is usually established with the very best of intentions. The founder of the trust wants to protect loved ones against the dangers of the market place and their own indiscretions. Unfortunately, the road paved with good intentions often does not lead to paradise and this is borne out by the substantial number of legal actions in our courts relating to trusts.
