Abstract

Wine drinkers are generally brand sensitive. Whether this is due to pure snobbism or actual taste is an open question. One good vintage is enough to create a hype around a wine for many consecutive vintages and one bad vintage (or unlucky Platters rating) is often enough to scar the reputation of a winery for life.
