Abstract

Creditors of companies and close corporations that have been deregistered by the Companies & Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC), as a result of a failure to file the requisite annual returns and pay the prescribed fees, may finally breathe a sigh of relief. That follows the judgement of the full bench of the Western Cape High Court, Cape Town in A29/13 WCHC ().
