Armament manufacturers benefit financially from conflicts. After all, it's a simple fact of supply and demand. But what happens when the supplier and consumer find themselves on opposite sides of the conflict? Although there are many examples of cross-conflict profit making, the aftermath of World War I probably saw one of the most interesting and morally complex examples in modern warfare.
