Abstract

Multiple myeloma has a sufficiently wide spectrum of presentations to cause the family practitioner, physician, orthopaedic or neuro-surgeon to bear it in mind constantly when faced with problems as disparate as backache, anaemia, renal failure, undue susceptibility to infection, spinal cord compression, etc.
