Phronimon is the bi-annual journal of The South African Society for Greek Philosophy and the Humanities. It publishes work of a high academic quality and encourages articles which meet the highest standards of philosophical expertise, while at the same time remaining accessible to readers from a broad range of philosophical disciplines. Although preference is given to articles relating to ancient Greek philosophy, the editorial board appreciates contributions from scholars in the human sciences as a whole with the intention of providing an international forum for interdisciplinary research, debate and discussion. The journal encourages and actively pursues diversity of viewpoints of contributors. Thereby it is in no way committed to any school of thought, party, method or style within the humanities.
