Abstract

Teen die agtergrond van gestremdheid as 'n resente gelykheidskwessie in die werkplek, poog hierdie artikel om by te dra tot die begrip van die raakpunte tussen gestremdheid, diskriminasie, gelykheid en die Wet op Billike Indiensneming 55 van 1998. Die artikel is in twee dele. In Deel 1 word die begripsmatige aspekte rakende gestremdheid bespreek. In Deel 2 sal die raakpunte tussen die werkgewer se plig van redelike akkomodasie en die Wet op Billike Indiensneming ondersoek word.
