Abstract

Socrates said that wisdom begins in wonder. The authors of this particular publication no doubt wondered about aspects of medical negligence cases that make these cases particularly complicated. The introductory paragraph to chapter one sets out to explain that it is universally accepted that a plaintiff bears the onus of proving facts that supports his case. Of all the problematic aspects of medical negligence cases, the application of the doctrine of no doubt emerged as an aspect worthy of in-depth research.
