Ayi Kwei Armah�s novels have continually generated universal critical interest. Engendering significant and diverse critical viewpoints, his novels demonstrate a perceptive use of language and a skilful deployment of symbolism to evolve a rather complex but coherent worldview that is focused on providing an alternative view of Africa�s historical experiences.
