The nature and activities of witches have in recent times come up globally, especially as it concerns the so-called negative effects of witchcraft on human beings. In advanced (Western) societies, many organizations have come up boldly with such names as satanic societies, witches, sacred grove or cult; and what they purport to study, research, teach and discuss in their assembly or sabbath is summarily called 'nature-earth spirituality'.
