n CME : Your SA Journal of CPD - Mosquito-borne viral infections in Southern Africa : a public health perspective : main article

Six mosquito-borne viral infections are of interest in Southern Africa, four of which have the potential to result in a haemorrhagic state. Health workers are at potential risk of acquiring these diseases in the occupational setting, which further compounds the problem.
