Abstract

Diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) and corresponding apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) maps have become routine magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) sequences. In children one of the major uses of DWI is in neonates with perinatal hypoxic ischaemic injury.
