The greatest tragedy that can befall boxing is that of the death in the ring. It is therefore necessary to carefully examine what factors may precipitate such a catastrophe. It is important to look at all possible factors in the broadest sense to enable boxing administrations throughout the world to improve their safety codes, and in this way, possibly eliminate death in the ring.
