To determine the incidence and nature of injuries sustained by elite cricketers during a four-season period in order to identify the evidence of any injury patterns associated with these injuries. Thirty-eight physiotherapists and 14 doctors working with 11 provincial teams and the South African national team completed a questionnaire for each cricketer who presented with an injury during each season.
