Objective: To assess whether partial as opposed to complete anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), rupture causes changes in quadriceps and hamstring muscle size or, strength. Methods: Thirteen complete (COMP) and 5 partial (PART) ACL-deficient subjects, whose injuries were diagnosed by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), completed the trial.
