This study considered mean skin temperature (Tmsk), forehead temperature (Tfor) responses and estimated sweat losses including absolute (SLabs), relative (SLrel), absolute rate (SRabs) and relative rate (SRrel) while batting during simulated cricket activity. The purpose was to determine the effect of protective gear on skin temperature responses and fluid loss.
