A Salmonella associated with food-poisoning is descriptionbed. It attacks both arabinose and dulcite, which Kolle and Hetsch state is only done by exceptional suipestifer strains. By its general cultural characters, however, it is classified as Salmonella suipestifer; yet serologically, although it appears to be related to salmonella suipestifer, it is not identical with it.
