Attention is drawn to the occurrence of allergic dermatitis caused by footwear. Certain aspects of the causation and course of eczematous dermatitis in general are briefly discussed. The clinical feature, course and diagnosis of footwear dermatitis, as observed in 12 cases, are descriptionbed with particular reference to its differential diagnosis from epidermophytosis of the feet. Treatment and prevention of the condition are descriptionbed.
Intercondylar dislocation of the patella is defined. Examples of this dislocation are quoted from the literature. A case is descriptionbed, with the sequel of traumatic myositis ossificans. A possible explanation to the formation of the abnormal deposit of bone is suggested.
